Refund and Returns Policy – CHEUNGG STEEL

CHEUNGG STEEL is committed to ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all international bulk orders of industrial fencing, mesh, and steel grating products.

1. General Principles

Due to the nature of customized and bulk industrial production, returns and refunds are subject to evaluation based on product specifications, order quantity, and delivery conditions. We encourage buyers to inspect goods upon arrival and report any issues in a timely manner.

2. Order Cancellation

  • Before production begins: Orders may be canceled with no additional charge.
  • After raw materials preparation / during production: Cancellation is subject to material and labor costs already incurred.
  • After completion of production or during shipment: Cancellation is not accepted.

3. Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product specifications delivered do not match the confirmed PI/drawing.
  • Manufacturing defects that affect product functionality or structural integrity.

Returns are not accepted under the following conditions:

  • Minor color variations within industry tolerance.
  • Dimensional tolerances within international manufacturing standards.
  • Damage caused during unloading, improper storage, or incorrect installation.
  • Products that were manufactured according to customer drawings but later found to be unnecessary.

Approved returns must meet:

  • Goods remain unused and in original condition.
  • Return freight and customs charges handled according to mutual agreement.

4. Refunds / Compensation

Once a return or quality claim is approved, compensation methods will be determined based on actual situations, including:

  • Partial refund
  • Replacement of goods
  • Credit for future orders
  • Sending free accessories or repair materials on the next shipment

Refunds are not applicable when:

  • The final product matches the specifications confirmed in the PI/drawing.
  • Issues were caused by third-party freight carriers or improper installation by end users.

5. Claim Procedure

To process a return or refund claim, customers must provide:

  • Written description of the issue within 7 days of delivery
  • Photos and/or videos of goods and packaging
  • Batch No. or container information

CHEUNGG STEEL will review the case within 5–7 working days and provide a resolution proposal.

6. Force Majeure

No refunds or returns will apply in situations caused by force majeure, including but not limited to war, natural disasters, government actions, or port strikes.
